Mount a 2” strip under the coil mount. 15. Mount a 10” strip under the lower plastic on the right side in front of the brake pedal and a 6” strip on the plastic behind the brake pedal. 16. Mount an 18” strip on the lower part of the frame rail and a 10” strip on the upper part of the frame rail on the left side above the header. 17. Mount a 10” strip under the lower plastic on the left side in front of the shifter and a 6” strip on the plastic behind the shifter. 18. Mount a 24” strip under and a 10” strip on the inside of the swing arm on left side. Then repeat this step on the right side. 19. Take (2) 6” strips and mount them under the rear seat grab handles (one on each side). 20. Mount a 6” strip on the inside of each headlight trim panel. Note: Add-on harnesses are used in order to connect different groups of wires together and run one wire to another location. Add-on harnesses can also be used in order to group specific light strips to be used with the Dual Zone feature. 21. Starting on the left side, use a 6pc add-on harness under the headlamp trim panel, attach wire connections to the left 18” strip under the front nose, the 6” strip under the headlamp trim panel, and the 4” strip on the horn to the harness along with the 4 control arm wire connections on the left side. 22. Using a second 6pc add-on harness under the headlamp trim panel, attach wire connections to the right 18” strip under the front nose, the 6” strip under the headlight trim panel, and the 4” strip under the right side headlight along with the 4 control arm wire connections on the right side. 23. Secure the wires with zip ties and reinstall the headlamp trim panels on both sides Note: We will be using (2) 4pc add-on harnesses on each side of the spyder. We will refer to them as “front” and “rear”. 24. Using a 4pc add-on harness, connect the male connector from the 6pc add-on harness, the 18” and 24” strips on the right side above the radiator. 2 Plugs will be left open that will be used for the (3) 10” strips on the air intake scoop or adding lights at your discretion. Secure with zip ties. (This will be your front harness on the right side) 25. Mount a 24” strip on the bottom of the right side plastic panel that says “Spyder” and reinstall the panel. (Remember to plug in the turn signal harness) Repeat this process on the left side panel however, do not reinstall the left side panel just yet. 26. Using a 4pc add-on harness, connect the male connector from the 6pc add-on harness, the 10” and 18” strips on the left side above the radiator. 2 Plugs will be left open that will be used for the (3) 10” strips on the air intake scoop or adding lights at your discretion. Secure with zip ties. (This will be your front harness on the left side) 27. On the right side use a separate 4pc add-on harness, connect the 10” strip under the lower plastic in front of the brake pedal, the 6” strip on the plastic behind the brake pedal, the 24” and 10” strips on the swing arm along with the 24” strip on the right side “spyder” panel. Secure with zip ties. (This will be your rear harness on the right side) 28. Reinstall the plastic panel that says “Can-Am” on the right side. 29. Mount (3) 10” strips to the right side air intake scoop. Then, connect all the strips together using a 2pc add-on harness and secure the wires using zip ties and zip tie mounts. 30. Plug the male connector from the 2pc add-on harness on the air intake scoop to one of the open connectors on your front 4pc add-on harness and reinstall the air intake scoop. 31. Using a separate 4pc add-on harness, connect the 10” strip under the lower plastic on the left side in front of the shifter, the 6” strip on the plastic behind the shifter, the 24” and 10” strips on the swing arm. One plug will be left open for the 24” strip on the “spyder” panel (This will be your rear harness on the left side) 32. Mount the control box to the battery bracket with the supplied tape. 33. Connect the 3pc power harnesses to the 2 leads coming off of the control box and route one of them to each side of the bike. 34. Starting with the right side power harness use a 3’ extension to connect the front 4pc add-on harness, the rear 4pc add-on harness and the 6” strip under the seat handle. Secure with zip ties. 35. Using a test light, probe the white wire on the taillight to confirm the brake light signal. (You are looking for a wire that has 12v when the brakes are applied and 0v when they are not) Crimp the spade terminal to the blue wire on the control box and connect to the white brake signal wire with the supplied T-tap Connector. 36. Mount (3) 10” strips to the left side air intake scoop. Using a 2pc add-on harness, connect all the strips together and secure using zip ties and zip tie mounts. 37. Plug the male connector from the 2pc add-on harness on the air intake scoop to one of the open connectors on your left front 4pc add-on harness and reinstall the air intake scoop. 38. Moving to the power harness on the left side, use a 3’ extension to connect the front 4pc add-on harness, the rear 4pc add-on harness and the 6” strip above the battery. 39. Crimp ring terminals onto the power and ground wires from the control box and connect them to the battery. 40. Plug the left rear turn signal harness into the turn signal, the 24” strip into the left rear 4pc add-on harness, and then reinstall the rear plastic panel that says “Spyder” on the left side. 41. Reinstall the rear tail cover. 42. Reinstall the plastic panel that says “Can-Am” on the left side. 43. Pair your device to the control box, power the kit and verify that all of the strips are lit and working properly.
