Recommendedmounting locations: • (2) 6” strips on the undertail • (2) 6” strips on the frame tubing under the seat • (2) 8” strips on the lower frame rail behind the foot peg, 1 on each side • (4) 24” strips around the engine with 2 on each side, 1 shining upward and 1 shining downward • (2) inverted 8” strips go on the headlights so that the LED’s face downward into each headlight • (1) 18” strip on the underside of the swing arm • (1) 8” strip under the gas tank • (1) 10” strip on the support in the engine bay keeping clear of the steering components • (1) 18” strip on the inside of the front bumper shining upward behind the front grille • (2) 8” strips on the rear bar of the upper control arms shining downward, 1 on each side • (2) 4” strips on the lower control arms shining downward, 1 on each side 5. Attach the strips by pressing firmly onto the suggested mounting locations. Secure with zip ties when able. 6. Using the 4pc add-on harness, connect the (2) 6” strips under the tail, (2) 6” strips under the seat and the 8” strip under the gas tank and run the harness lead to the front of the Ryker. 7. Using a 6pc add-on harness, connect the (2) 24” strips around the engine bay on the right side, the 8” strip behind the right foot peg, the 8” and 4” strips on the right front control arms, and the inverted 8” strip on the right headlight and run the harness lead to the front of the Ryker. 8. Using a 6pc add-on harness, connect the 18” strip on the swing arm, (2) 24” strips around the engine bay on the left side, the 8” strip behind the left foot peg, the 8” and 4” strips on the left front control arms, and the inverted 8” strip on the left headlight and run the harness lead to the front of the Ryker. 9. Using the 6pc power harness, connect the (3) add-on harnesses that were run to the front of the bike, the 10” strip in the engine bay and the 18” grille light and connect to the control box. 10. Using an alcohol prep pad, clean an area on the battery in order tomount the control box using double sided tape. 11. Be sure to secure all the wires using zip ties. 12. Attach ring terminal connectors to the red and black wires from the control box and connect them to the positive and negative posts on the battery. 13. Using a test light, locate the white brake light signal wire on the left side of the Ryker that has 12 volts when the brakes are applied. Using the supplied clamp-on wire connector, connect the blue wire from the control box using a 16-18ga automotive grade wire to extend if needed. The brake light feature will illuminate all the strips red anytime the brakes are pressed, whether the kit is on or off. 14. Wireless Remote Functions: This kit provides multiple lighting patterns and several brightness levels, which are easily operated using the includedwireless remote. The remote consists of four buttons, “A, B, C, D.” • Button A: Cycles through 15 solid colors as well as a color cycle and a color fade pattern. • Hold for 5 seconds to select brightness level when on a solid color. • Button B: Activates strobing patternwhen a single color is selected. • Hold to increase pattern speedwhen on color cycle/ color fade pattern. • Button C: Activates fading patternwhen a single color is selected. • Hold to decrease pattern speedwhen on color cycle/ color fade pattern. • Button D : Power On/Off. 15. Reprogramming theWireless Remote: This procedure is going to be used for programming an existing or a brand newwireless remote to the control box. If the control box is currently connected to power and ground, please disconnect the groundwire from the ground source. Reconnect the groundwire back to the ground source, and once this is connected, the lights on the strips will turn on green. Within 5 seconds fromwhen the kit turns on green, you can then press the A and then the B button on the wireless remote. If this programming is successful, the light strips will flicker green twice, and the kit will remain powered on. If the remote is not controlling the system, please repeat the steps above.
